Meets & Events

Meet Information

Meets are a great way for swimmers to demonstrate their progress throughout the season! CHSSL meets prioritize sportsmanship, individual growth, and teamwork. Swim meets are held first for fun and second to determine a winner.

Weekday Meets: Warm-ups begin at 4:00PM for the home team, & 4:25PM for the away team. Meet begins at 5:00PM.
Saturday Meets: Warm-ups begin at 8:00AM for the home team, & 8:25AM for the away team. Meet begins at 9:00AM.

*Individual meet information & entries will be sent out via email around a week before each meet.*

*Please remember that parents are required to volunteer at each meet.*

Thursday, June 13th: Home vs. EXSC

Saturday, June 22nd: Away @ CHCCR

Saturday, June 29th: Home vs. HRST

Wednesday, July 3rd: Away @ The Farm

Wednesday, July 10th: Away @ H3AC

Friday-Saturday, July 19-20th: CHAMPS @ Koury Natatorium!

Champs Eligibility

In order to participate in Champs, swimmers must have participated in 2 of the 6 dual meets of the 2024 season. This does not include the Mock Meet.

Come celebrate the Stingrays’ accomplishments with dinner and awards at the Governor’s Club clubhouse!

SVGC Swim Team

The SVGC swim team is part of the Chapel Hill Summer Swim League, and welcomes swimmers ages 5–18. Our goal is to help each swimmer improve their skills by emphasizing fun, team spirit, healthy competition, and good sportsmanship. The friendships formed among team members make being part of the team truly special.

In order to participate on the Stingrays, swimmers must be a current member of the following clubs: Southern Village, Governors Club, Governors Village, Governors Park, The Preserve, or The Legacy.
